Security of telecommunication networks

Security of telecommunication networks

Given the rapid changes in the field of telecommunications and the discovery of new vulnerabilities, the discussion of mobile infrastructure network security is unavoidable. To that end, the telecommunication network security team has attempted to reduce existing risks and threats by reviewing standards, based on a smart strategy, and taking into account the future of development in telecommunication networks, by implementing projects to secure communication and information platforms and prevent irreparable events from occurring.

The telecommunication network security team projects include PS, CS, RAN, IPBB, and IMS networks, as well as the equipment used in them.

Features

• analysis of the network's current state through field trips, library research, and owner interviews.

• Writing and editing the HLD, LLD, and LOM security design document

• Preparing instructions and implementing policies according to the requirements of today's security

• Vulnerability scanning and penetration testing

• Development of assessment, audit, and security tools

• Extracting IT and CT sub-network vulnerabilities from standard sources such as VKB, GSMA CVD, and MITER and checking public sources such as important and common reports and standards of organizations such as OWASP, NIST, CIS, ITU-T, ETSI, GPP3, and GSMA

• Preparing security checklists, evaluating, securing, and auditing rounds of network equipment (such as switches, routers, and firewalls)

• Preparing security checklists, evaluating, securing, and auditing rounds of telecommunications applications

• Preparation of security checklists, evaluation, security, and audit rounds of operating systems and databases.

• Preparing security checklists, evaluating, securing, and auditing rounds of web servers and web services.

• Preparation of security checklists, assessment, security, and audit of the infrastructure layer (such as virtualization platform, cloud platform, and storage devices)
